most of us hate to be lied to and if we happen to find out that that someone we love has lied to us be it fren, bf or gf, we will be upset, but have we ever thot that sometimes, we are the very ones that may have prompted the other party to lie just because we cant handle the truth?
how many times have we showed displeasure or be upset when being told the truth? naturally, so as not to incur the wrath or make the other party upset, we tell a white lie since oblivion is bliss...some pple are willing to be lied at just to hold on to the relationship but its not healthy if too much is kept from each other... love is base on acceptance and understanding of a person character, habit and flaws...

sometimes we try to change a habit which we interpret as bad, not a bad thing if you show encouragement to help change the habit but dont get upset and frustrated when a habit is not dropped... if it was that easy to drop, it wouldnt be called a habit in the 1st place would it? understand why it is hard to drop the habit instead of just showing tantrums...

A sneak peak into Wilbur's weekend :)

went to IPSA's make-up party event on Sat as the make-up maestro, Tetsuya Okukawa, was in town to demonstrate some make-up tricks... he looked somewhat like an older version of Takashi Kaneshiro, he had the 'say' and all and only spoke in jap (got translator lah) *grins* picked up some tips but i doubt i would put them into practice anytime soon cos he use a whole lotta stuff like foundation, concealer, lip cream etc which makes one look flawless and near to perfection but knowing the hidden sloth in me, i am just contented if minimal flaws are apparent :)

anyway, sweet sweet dragon though could not fetch me back from orchard, brought me to tanjong katong for durians! of course, he loves the fruit as well, see how his face lights up at the sight of the thorny fruit *grins* pics away!

Today, i suggested to dragon to eat at marine terrace but bad choice cos he was super pissed with the way his deep fried dory was done =p

the glistening smoked duck which i thot was ok if the rice hadnt had teriyaki sauce in it cos i freaking hate teriyaki sauce cos its too sweet for my liking =p
the 'bin chao' dragon who din enjoy a good lunch and i bet in his mind, he would wished that we had gone to Sushi Tei instead =p but no lor, all thanks to this wabbit who had her bright ideas once again kekekeke

after lunch, we headed to changi village to get some floats for prawning...

dragon has been awfully sweet cos he did alot of driving though he finds it tiring... we finished the day with delivery from pastamania (lasagne, prawn aglio, apple dessert pizza, nachos and chix wings) and Madagascar =) love is sweet!

darn, my internt connection isnt exactly the fastest and it's causing some issues with uploading of photos to blogger, shitty man... oh well, just have to make do for now... fridae was good as for the 1st time i soaked into the halloween atmosphere but sans costumes =p lucky am a member of TCC so suggested to yenfuu and his colleagues to go to TCC international plaza for dinner cos they got halloween theme gg on... they had quite a number of freaky characters including freddy kruger from nightmare on elm street, jason from friday the 13th...even the waiters and waitresses were made up to look bloodie and all quite like zombies from the living dead :) just 3 words...

COOL, COOL, COOL!!!!

anyway, i hope yenfuu's colleagues wandi (she's thai ) and serena (she's shanghainese) enjoyed themselves... serena, like me, is into actresses with classic looks like audrey hepburn and anne hathway... sweet! the gals left after dinner whilst chao shern, yf and me con't walking too find a place to chill...from marriott to balcony to acid bar, we finally ended up in giraffe... not really ideal but i guess the company is ok so we crapped till abt 1plus :) actually acid bar was cool cos most of the patrons were dressed to the nines lol... there was raggedy ann and all... i made a pact with yf that next yr we will dress up... intend to dress up as hell girl lol but i guess i would most prob change my mind come next yr... looking fwd to it and hope it materialises!

btw, whilst making our way to peranakan place, we met szehwee n his gf who came out from acid bar and recommended that we go there but the place was pretty packed so we figured it wont be fun just partying at the door not to mention 'off' (read: geeky) =p must be where ever early man, if we want to get into the crowd next year :)

sat was a busy day cos new sofa arrived and there was lots of cleaning and reshuffling to do... we ordered lunch from macs and boy were we freaking pissed cos when our wasabi fillet meal arrived, there was no wasabi fries *horrors of horrors* u could imagine the wrath from both dragon and myself!!! i called macs to voice out my grievances but all they cld do was to tell me that shakers fries promo was not available and apologise that the order taker did not inform me... for crying out loud, why the freaking hell would i order the meal without the shaker fries???!!! f***... btw, i still am not appeased with their service recovery (was there any to begin with???!!) service level has plummetted so much nowadays much like the finanical stock market =s even macs level of service cannot compare to before... i'm not greedy but I thot the should have offered to send me a voucher or something...but NO... they just got one helluva disgruntled customer!
