Bean me up, Scottie =)

If there is one homegrown brand that i'm extremely proud and fond of, it's Mr Bean =) They have been truly creative - coming up with revolutionary products like the chendol soya milk drink, soya ice cream and even roasted soya beans! i have never been disappointed with their creations!!! it's not frequent tt i would buy local brand merchandise as most do not appeal to me either cos their mascots are ugly or they are usu poorly made, but not mr bean's =)
this plump happy beanie is just what it takes to bring our local brand to match that of the japanese!!!

kudos to the branding team!!! super ichiban!!!

my recent visit to jean yip

decided to trim my hair on impulse last week... it was abt 8pm and i went to various salons at parkway in hope one would be willing to do me a service but i guess business have been damn good lor cos there were no customers but i was turned down by all as they seemed anxious to close, much to my disappointment =(
i tried jean yip as a last resort and by this time, it was already 8.30pm...
they were willing to service me and the hairdresser assigned to me is Berry Goo...
yeah, seriously that's the name on his card but he really is berri good lor cos i like the way he cut my hair =) heh
wilbur's friday paranormal activity lol
we din manage to notice anything paranormal during our tour at fort canning, i guess our group was a too big and it might have put the spirits off heh... but did hear 1st hand from ramzah who took it upon himself to guard the keramat of sultan iskandar shah... he did have dreams and witness some sights while sleeping beside the keramat... i didnt feel uncomfortable whilst being ard the area... i guess the place was holy and i guess as long as you respect their space, they usu would respect yours too :) i couldnt believe this teenage boy participant though.... he kept shining his touch directly at the keramat which i thot was rude and invasion of 'their' space... hope he kena taught a subtle lesson by the ones he disturb =p
(R) took this for SY in hope that something strange appears... all we saw was an orb which was brushed off as light reflections =p kns lol
mr seoras
SY and me signed up for SPI's Parapsychology Seminar last friday. Special guests speaker was Seoras MacPherson (Paranormal specialist, storyteller, author of books about Celtic Highland myths and legends). At certain parts both of us were dozing off lol cos Seoras voice was rather monotonous =p i guess the interesting part was the Q&A session though we cant believe some of the qns posed by the participants - a bit duh and would have made homer simpson smarter than them =p there was an uncle attendee who came late and i presume the only reason he attended was to accompany his wife/gf ... he was was practically touching the soles of both his feet that both SY and me stared at each other in horror lol... it din help that he had greasy hair as well =<
at 2am at 5.30pm lol
(L) hmmm... stairs that forebode of how our nite excursion would be?? lol
cant rem our dessert names lol but i do rem the cost though hhahhhahaa...
but the desserts were worth every single penny we paid!
it was seriously desserts not for gorging but to savour in small bites and appreciate how each distinct flavour complement so well together =) sy's dessert on the right was truly unique as it has the chilli hotness taste in it!
shuying and moi decided to stop by here after our course to try the much raved about desserts :)
sights on a friday morning =)
