it doesnt matter whether i've been here; what matters is the discoveries & sights are different each time =)
thots for the morning while in the pearl of the orient :)...
while the plane was taking off for HK, i got to see the rising glow of the sun =)
there are plenty of emergency stop buttons beside the mtr escalators as oppose to one miserly one located right at the bottom of our escalators - i guess we cant trust ourselves not to be up to mischief =s
there were limited seats left for the 7pm, 7.15pm, 7.25pm show for inception (notice the many close timings are available for just one movie and all in one cinema?) so we were left with 1st front row seats for the 7.15pm show :) the seats are high back and i could feel the tremors when it came to the action sounds :) freaking cool!!! btw, the cinema is built with much practicality so nope i din get a neck ache for sitting in front! *grins*
although only sweet popcorn was available, it was totally yummy and crunchy!!! dont recall tasting such yummy popcorn in our local movie theatres =p mostly passable =p
it was already 10PM when we got out of the cinema after catching inception (nope it was in cantonese lol) but there were still throngs of people queueing up for tickets and checking up show times - very happening for a weekday nite!
talking about movie show times, there was just one A3 (i think) poster showing the screen timings. the hong kongers are disciplined enough to form a queue and patiently wait for their turn to check the timings - if it was SG, most prob u will have pple walking up and sticking their heads in front of u while u are still looking at it =s
hong kongers are true tekkies, a long queue had snaked all the way from ifc mall to the link to wing on building for the launch of the iphone4 - it was like 10.30PM already and isnt tomorrow a working day??!! amazing!!! - the only thing we are willing to queue to such extend are concert tickets by rare artistes, hdb flats and mac's hello kitties; talk about a knowledge-based economy =p
local food here needs no accompanying sauces like chili to go with as the food is truly yummy enough!
