yeah went to m'sia again yest heh
this time organised by csc and went with tee
the coach wasnt comfortable as that provided by konsortium last week =S
but at the guide was really knowledgeable and provided really detailed facts of the towns, its buildings and even the school system :)
the new jb customs after leaving woodlands checkpoint
the crowd this time was horrendous
lucky thing we went straight to the loo upon alighting as after we came out, a queue had already snaked its way through *phew*
after 10mins of sitting down in the yoyo cafe area, i suggested to venture the surrounding places
good choice as we managed to find and see interesting stuff like the organic dragon fruit stall etc :)
an interesting passage from the book that tee was reading while on our way to the durian plantation for lunch :)
while having durians, we got to know this nice middle-aged couple on the same tour as us and we kinda gel
it was funny that we ran into them every now and then :)
i happen to take the same NEL train with them on my way home as they introduced themselves as pat and james... james is the author of the book 'twinkle in the sky'!!! amazing huh that the people you meet each have an amazing story to tell =)
these shops were located at the carpark :)
we din walk very far up like some of the others in the group as the grounds were slippery due to the rain
not much things to see and do at the resort while we waited for time to pass before the coach arrived =p the bintan resorts are definitely better!
tee opted for cooked food made upon request as this would minimise the risk of stomach upsets heh
the mee goreng was home-made tasty with ingredients of chunky fred chicken bits, egg and sotong :)
the coach stopped at the traffic light when i saw this sign
after a nice seafood dinner, tee stubbornly wanted to make a dash to the guardian pharmacy to get his dental floss which he claimed was real cheap in m'sia
