same but different =)

yeah went to m'sia again yest heh
this time organised by csc and went with tee
the coach wasnt comfortable as that provided by konsortium last week =S
but at the guide was really knowledgeable and provided really detailed facts of the towns, its buildings and even the school system :)

the new jb customs after leaving woodlands checkpoint

on the way to taman ungku tun aminah for breakfast

was expecting the food to be as good as the place i went last sat but aye, was sorely disappointed!

the chok which tee ordered looked good but when he tasted it, he said it was bland =S

my wanton noodles was ok but it was a far cry from the kolo mee last week =S

always fascinated with the running cables =)

looks like giant robots pulling the cables :)

the burger and donut joints reminds me of that seen those american movies =)

spot the mangoes =)

at yoyos again in yong peng =p
the crowd this time was horrendous
lucky thing we went straight to the loo upon alighting as after we came out, a queue had already snaked its way through *phew*
after 10mins of sitting down in the yoyo cafe area, i suggested to venture the surrounding places
good choice as we managed to find and see interesting stuff like the organic dragon fruit stall etc :)

dragon fruit jelly =)

a similar giant moth which i saw couple of weeks back outside our office building!!! cool!!!

too bad this choc shop was closed =p

an interesting passage from the book that tee was reading while on our way to the durian plantation for lunch :)

arrived in tangkak!

view of mount ophir :)

had our fill of durians and explored outside to see these :)
strangely those armed with tekong cameras in our tour group werent exploring as much =p

this was opposite the durian plantation
kinda reminds me of texas chainsaw massacre kekekeke =)

while having durians, we got to know this nice middle-aged couple on the same tour as us and we kinda gel
it was funny that we ran into them every now and then :)
i happen to take the same NEL train with them on my way home as they introduced themselves as pat and james... james is the author of the book 'twinkle in the sky'!!! amazing huh that the people you meet each have an amazing story to tell =)

touch-me-nots!

this time rambutans were offered in addition to the durians =)
but i din have any cos thot the combination of green and red was weird heh :)
at mount ophir!
these shops were located at the carpark :)

the slow business of these vendors makes us wonder whether they have enough for each day =S

the waterfalls of mount ophir :)
we din walk very far up like some of the others in the group as the grounds were slippery due to the rain
wasnt safe especially when we din have the proper gear and equipment

further up there is a "KFC"??? ahahhahha ;)

kois in the gunung ledang resort
not much things to see and do at the resort while we waited for time to pass before the coach arrived =p the bintan resorts are definitely better!

maggie mee goreng from one of the roadside stalls near the carpark
tee opted for cooked food made upon request as this would minimise the risk of stomach upsets heh
the mee goreng was home-made tasty with ingredients of chunky fred chicken bits, egg and sotong :)

wonder how sucha VIP pass is obtained... hmm...

on our way for seafood dinner
the coach stopped at the traffic light when i saw this sign
the mascot is almost identical! ;)

after a nice seafood dinner, tee stubbornly wanted to make a dash to the guardian pharmacy to get his dental floss which he claimed was real cheap in m'sia
lucky thing i suggested to turned back midway through else we would have kept the others waiting =p

nice view of the misty mountain while walking back to the coach and ending the day :)
