- wanted to go work early as i was away from office on mon & tues, but my alarm clock died
- woke up to find 2 sweaters which was hung to dry in the utility room had been blown onto a very, very wet floor
- the utility room was flooded thanks to the torrential rain and my deep, deep sleep
- cab hotlines were all busy this morning
- waited for eternity for a cab to work
- traffic was horrendous
- extremely late for work on the 1st day after my long absence
